Woman Relaxing on Couch, Contemporary Abstract Artwork
A woman relaxes on a red-orange couch in this contemporary horizontal abstract artwork with striped elements.
Description
A figure settles into a red-orange couch, rendered in contemporary abstract style with striped passages moving through the composition. The mood is one of ease and repose, with the couch itself as much a character as the woman who occupies it.
Large horizontal prints like this work best above a sofa or a console in a living room or bedroom where they can stretch across the wall. Warm neutrals and deeper wall tones both give it room to land, and the red-orange palette pairs well with earth-toned furnishings.
Art collectors drawn to figurative abstraction and contemporary portraiture are the audience, along with anyone seeking a piece that reads as both figure and interior at once. It suits a housewarming or a birthday for someone furnishing a living space with bold, modern work.
