William Morris Gallery Exhibition 1887 Blue Floral Quote Art Poster
A Morris Gallery exhibition print from August 1887 with blue florals and his famous craft quote.
Description
This exhibition print for the William Morris Gallery, dated 'August 1887', centers a blue-and-cream floral textile pattern beneath the quote 'You can't have art without resistance in the materials'. The elegant layout honors Morris's design philosophy as much as his pattern work. An inspiring, classic piece for studios, creative spaces and Arts and Crafts collectors.
