Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort Poster, Ski Lodge Art

Whiteface Mountain and its ski resort are handled in the flat color and bold lettering of a classic ski poster. The style recalls mid-century travel design, with the landscape simplified to confident graphic shapes rather than fine detail.

Stair walls and hallways suit posters like this, and so does a den, a mudroom, or a ski lodge itself. Hang it alongside other regional ski posters and mountain prints to build a travel wall, or let it stand alone above a bench.

Skiers who have run Whiteface, New York natives, and vintage-poster collectors are the audience. It works as a souvenir after a trip, or as a present for someone furnishing a mountain cabin or a home with a ski theme.
