Western Fig Parrot by John Gould Three Parrots Vintage Bird Art Poster
A vintage ornithological lithograph captioned ‘Cyclopsitta occidentalis’: three fig parrots with orange faces perched on a flowering branch. 19th-century bird art.
Description
The three small parrots — green bodies, yellow-and-red heads — crowd a blossom-laden bough, printed in soft Gould-era tones on aged cream paper. A charming tropical-bird study for parrot lovers and collectors of classic natural history plates.
