A 1967 German matchbox label with a bold railroad crossing scene and the Vorsicht warning. Graphic mid-century design in teal, red, and black.
Description
This 1967 German matchbox label warns Vorsicht auf Reichsbahngebiet, or caution on railway property, with a bold railroad crossing scene. A black train crosses red and white barriers against a teal sky, printed by Konsum-Zündwarenwerk Riesa. The graphic, poster-like composition makes it a standout piece of mid-century German design.
