Vladimir Lenin Soviet Propaganda Poster Red Flag Vintage History Print
A striking vintage Soviet propaganda poster of Vladimir Lenin striding before a red flag. Bold, historic and full of revolutionary energy.
Description
This powerful vintage-style poster depicts Vladimir Lenin in bold painterly strokes, coat flowing, before a sweeping red flag bearing the hammer and sickle and star. The Russian slogan 'Ленин жил, Ленин жив, Ленин будет жить!' (Lenin lived, Lenin lives, Lenin will live!) — a line from Mayakovsky — underscores its propaganda roots. A conversation piece for studies, offices and collectors of 20th-century history.
