Van Gogh Prisoners Exercising 1890 Prison Courtyard Art Print Poster
Van Gogh’s haunting 1890 ‘Prisoners Exercising’: inmates circling a bleak brick courtyard.
Description
This poster reproduces Van Gogh's powerful 'Prisoners Exercising' (1890), based on Dore's engraving: a ring of prisoners shuffling around a high-walled brick courtyard in cold blue-green tones. One of his most famous late works, full of pathos. A striking piece for collectors and lovers of art with emotional depth.
