Van Dyck Head Study of Woman Gazing Upward Dark Background Art Print
A luminous Baroque head study of a woman looking to the heavens. Intimate, emotional old master art.
Description
Anthony van Dyck's study of a woman gazing upward glows with life against its dark ground, every strand of copper hair rendered with bravura brushwork. Such studies were the private laboratories of great portraitists, and this one is especially moving. Perfect for art lovers who appreciate the craft behind the masterpiece.
