Val Gardena Travel Poster, Ski Resort Adventure

Val Gardena, one of the Alps' premier ski destinations, is depicted in the graphic style of a mid-century travel and sports poster. The mountain landscape and the promise of skiing anchor the design, worked in the confident flat color and bold lettering that defined vintage resort promotion.

Stair walls, dens, and mudrooms are natural homes for ski posters, and it pairs well with other Alpine or winter-sports prints hung as a group. Frame it simply so the vintage aesthetic reads clearly, and consider hanging it where gear gets stored or where skis lean against the wall.

Skiers who have run Val Gardena's slopes and collectors of vintage ski culture are the core audience, along with anyone building a wall around Alpine travel. It works as a present marking a ski trip, or as the beginning of a collection someone keeps adding to season after season.
