Ursa Major Constellation Bear Vintage Celestial Star Chart Wall Poster
The Great Bear of Ursa Major from a 19th-century star atlas, with Dubhe, Merak and the Big Dipper stars.
Description
From a classic celestial atlas, this plate shows the constellation Ursa Major as a great golden bear, with the famous stars of the Big Dipper, Dubhe, Merak, Phecda and Alkaid, labeled across its form. Warm hand-coloring on aged paper gives it authentic antique character. A wonderful gift for stargazers and astronomy art collectors.
