Two Geese Descending in Falling Snow Japanese Woodblock Poster
Two geese spiral down through falling snow over winter reeds. Ohara Koson’s 1920s print is ink-wash elegance.
Description
This atmospheric woodblock shows the geese in dark expressive brushwork against a pale snow-filled sky. Koson's loose, painterly handling of the birds contrasts with fine reed detail. A poetic poster for bird art collectors and winter landscape lovers.
