Tsuchiya Koitsu Evening at Miidera Temple Dusk Woodblock Poster
Dusk settles over Miidera Temple in Koitsu’s tranquil evening scene. Two women in kimono pause by the great roof while the lake glows orange below.
Description
Tsuchiya Koitsu's 'Evening at Miidera' looks across tiled temple roofs toward a distant lake burning with sunset color. Figures in bright kimono and a stone lantern complete the peaceful composition. The gradated indigo sky shows shin-hanga at its atmospheric best. A deeply calming print for bedrooms and meditation spaces.
