Inspired by Gustave Courbet's 1849 The Stone Breakers, this poster shows two workers hauling themselves up a craggy rock face, one pointing the way forward. The black border is printed with COURBET, 1849 and ORNANS FRANCE. Raw, earthy and full of grit, it is a striking tribute to 19th-century French realism for a study or office.
