The Meeting Pointing Up at a Towering Tree 1854 Courbet Poster
A man pointing up a great tree to his companion in a sunlit forest, as a Courbet art poster.
Description
In this sunlit version of The Meeting, a man with a walking staff points up the trunk of a towering tree while a woman in a headscarf looks on, their pack resting nearby. The black poster border is printed with COURBET, 1854 and MONTPELLIER FRANCE. Warm light and quiet companionship make this a charming French realist-inspired print.
