Swiss Alps Travel Poster, Scenic Europe Art Print

The Swiss Alps are handled in the flat color and confident lines of a mid-century travel poster. The peaks are simplified rather than photographically detailed, which is exactly what gives this style its graphic power and timeless appeal.

Stair walls and hallways take posters like this well, and so does a study, den, or mudroom. It gains strength from hanging in a row with other travel posters or European landscape prints.

Mountain climbers, Alps travelers, and Switzerland natives are the audience. It works as a present marking a trip, or as the beginning of a travel-poster collection someone will keep building.
