South Africa Tribal Dancer Qantas Airline Vintage Travel Poster
A Qantas poster for South Africa, billed as Australia’s Overseas Airline, showing a dancer in a spectacular beaded and horned ceremonial headdress on teal.
Description
The stylized figure carries a shield and spear, rendered in flat modernist shapes of red, green and black. A tiny airliner crosses the top beside the South Africa banner. It is a vivid example of mid-century airline advertising art.
