Shiro Kasamatsu Golden Peacock Tail From Behind Japanese Poster
A peacock seen from behind unfurls a cascade of golden eye-spotted feathers. A bold, regal bird portrait of dazzling color.
Description
This vintage Japanese woodblock print by Shiro Kasamatsu presents a peacock from behind, its magnificent tail a shimmering fan of gold, blue, and green eye spots against a dark ground. The unusual viewpoint and saturated color make it a striking, modern-feeling image. A show-stopping piece for living rooms and entryways.
