Screaming Crow on Snowy Branch Japanese Bird Woodblock Poster
A black crow throws its head back in a harsh cry on a snow-dusted branch. Ohara Koson’s stark bird study is unforgettable.
Description
This 20th century woodblock captures a crow mid-call, beak open, against a spare gray ground with a few snow lines. The bold silhouette and raw energy make it one of Koson's most dramatic kacho-e prints. A striking poster for bird art collectors and modern Japanese print fans.
