Robert John Thornton Nodding Renealmia Flower Botanical Poster
The nodding Renealmia shows sprays of white, yellow, and red blossoms on tall green leaves. A Thornton Temple of Flora plate.
Description
From Robert John Thornton's Temple of Flora, this plate portrays the nodding Renealmia with cascading flowers in white, yellow, and crimson against broad green leaves. A distant river landscape fills the background in soft blue. The delicate coloring and dramatic composition mark it as fine botanical art. A distinctive exotic-flower print.
