Peaceful Atom Soviet Matchbox Corn Helicopter Vintage Poster
A Soviet matchbox design for ‘МИРНЫЙ АТОМ’ — the peaceful atom — with a helicopter, corn, and factory in bold red and blue. Mid-century USSR graphic energy.
Description
This 1965 Soviet matchbox label promotes the 'Peaceful Atom' with an atom diagram, helicopter, factory, and corn on a bold red-and-blue ground. Printed by the Kuzbass Biysk match combine under GOST 1820-56, it is a prime example of USSR science propaganda graphics. A striking piece for Cold War and Soviet-design collectors.
