Paul Klee 1919 Geometric Cityscape With Sun And Brick Towers Poster
Dated 1919, Klee’s geometric city rises in brick towers and glowing planes around a radiant sun. A bold modernist landmark.
Description
Paul Klee built this 1919 cityscape from faceted planes, brick-patterned towers and a great circular sun, mixing deep reds, ochres and blacks with cool blue. The dated signature anchors it in his early Bauhaus-era experimentation. A statement abstract for collectors of modern art.
