Original 1937 Paris fair poster by Leonetto Cappiello with two torchbearers in tricolor ribbons. A bold Art Deco piece for French poster collectors.
Description
This striking Art Deco poster advertises the 1937 Exposition Internationale des Arts et Techniques in Paris, held May through November under the French Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The design shows two allegorical figures raising a flame against sweeping tricolor waves, signed by Leonetto Cappiello. Rich navy, red and gold tones make it a dramatic focal point for a Paris-themed wall.
