Orthodox Icon of Two Gospel Scribes Writing Byzantine Wall Art
A traditional Orthodox icon showing two haloed gospel scribes at work at a writing desk, framed in an oval mandorla.
Description
This Byzantine-style icon portrays two gospel writers seated at a desk, quill and scroll in hand, surrounded by books and scholarly instruments within a richly ornamented oval frame. Deep reds, blues and gold leaf give it an authentic liturgical warmth. A meaningful addition to prayer corners and icon collections.
