Old Japanese Shopfront with Signboards Frog and Cat Woodblock Print
A thatched roof Japanese shopfront covered in painted signboards anchors this playful bold line woodblock print, with a frog and a black cat at its door.
Description
This characterful Japanese woodblock print depicts an old shopfront with a thatched roof and a jumble of hand painted signboards in black, cream, and red. A smiling frog and a black cat sit by the entrance while a figure in kimono walks past. The heavy black outlines give it a folk art energy. A fun, story rich piece for a kitchen, hallway, or shop of your own.
