Ohara Koson Sparrows on a Branch by Wisteria Japanese Woodblock Poster
Three sparrows perch on a curved black branch beside a hanging spray of blue wisteria in this circa 1930 Japanese woodblock print. Charming and tranquil, it suits soft, natural interiors.
Description
Ohara Koson's kacho-e print shows three small sparrows resting on a gracefully bent branch, with purple-blue wisteria blooms trailing from above. The muted sage background and fine brushwork are pure shinhanga elegance. A gentle piece for bedrooms, nurseries, and reading nooks.
