Musee de Saint Etienne 1964 Collages Papiers Colles Red Paper Cut Poster
1964 Musee de Saint-Etienne collage exhibition poster with a red paper-cut leaf on black. Bold mid-century French gallery graphics.
Description
This French poster advertises the Musee de Saint-Etienne exhibition marking fifty years of collages, papiers colles and assemblages from cubism to the present day, June 24 to September 13, 1964. A red cut-paper leaf shape floats on a black square in the manner of mid-century modernism. Red and black typography completes the graphic museum look.
