Melting City Post Impressionist Art Print, City View
A rainbow city melts under a sunset, seen from across the water in expressive painted style.
Description
Seen from the water, this city seems to melt under a sunset, its buildings running together in rainbow color. Post-impressionist brushwork keeps the whole skyline loose, so the reflection and the buildings share the same marks.
Apartments, lofts, and dining rooms suit it, especially where a large piece can sit above a sideboard or a sofa. The sunset palette warms a room with cool walls.
City dwellers and people who like painted skylines rather than photographs are the buyers. It makes a solid housewarming gift for a friend moving downtown, or a present for someone whose favorite view is the one across the harbor at dusk. Larger sizes let the brushwork read properly from a distance.
