Matisse Lescargot 1953 Rainbow Nautilus Shell Mosaic Art Poster
A rainbow nautilus shell of mosaic tiles glows in red, green and gold in this Matisse Lescargot 1953 exhibition poster.
Description
The printed border reads MATISSE, L'ESCARGOT, 1953 and NICE FRANCE around a shell-spiral of crackled tiles flowing from ruby to emerald to amber. Nature's geometry rendered in pure color. Beautiful in bathrooms, coastal rooms and calm modern spaces.
