Lysoform El Antiseptico Moderno Mauzan Dragon Vintage Ad Poster
A dramatic Italian poster by Mauzan for Lysoform disinfectant, showing a crimson dragon writhing as antiseptic drips down onto it from a tilted bottle. Dark, theatrical, and unmistakably early twentieth century.
Description
This bold vintage advertisement by the celebrated Italian poster artist Achille Mauzan promotes Lysoform, the modern antiseptic. A great red dragon collapses on a black background while drops of disinfectant fall onto it from a tilted white bottle, a theatrical metaphor for germs defeated. With its sweeping script lettering and sinister reds, it is a collector-worthy piece of vintage medical advertising art.
