Les 2 Alpes, France Ski Resort Travel Poster

Les 2 Alpes, the French Alpine ski resort, is handled in the flat color and bold lettering of a mid-century travel poster. The mountain landscape is simplified into confident shapes, which is exactly what gives this style its graphic power and timeless appeal.

Stair walls, hallways, and mudrooms take posters like this well, and it gains real impact hung alongside other ski-resort or mountain posters. Bedrooms with a mountain or adventure theme also work, and the cool palette pairs easily with wood tones and neutral walls.

Skiers who have run Les 2 Alpes, Alpine enthusiasts, and anyone building a collection of ski-resort posters are the audience. Give it to mark a trip, or to a friend whose walls document the mountains they have skied.
