Lemon Antique Pomological Watercolor Persian Lime Annotation Poster
A yellow lemon shown whole and halved, whose handwritten label curiously reads “Persian Lime,” painted 1908-09.
Description
This vintage citrus plate by Ellen B. Fowler depicts a classic yellow lemon and its juicy cross-section, yet the artist's handwritten note labels it "Persian Lime" — an intriguing archival quirk noted here as written. From Eustis, Florida, it remains a beautiful piece of pomological history. A delightful vintage citrus print for collectors.
