Kawase Hasui Udo Tower Kumamoto Castle 1930s Rainy Day Art Poster
Rain streaks the walls of Kumamoto Castle as a figure with a red umbrella passes. Hasui’s 1930s rainy tower scene is bold and dramatic.
Description
Kawase Hasui's 1930s Udo Tower print captures Kumamoto Castle rising behind green trees in a driving rainstorm. A lone figure with a vivid red oil-paper umbrella crosses the wet courtyard below the castle tower. A striking Japanese castle in the rain.
