Kawase Hasui Matsue Canal Evening Moonlit Dusk Woodblock Poster
Moonlight washes over the white storehouses of Matsue canal as a boat drifts through the dusk. A serene evening companion to Hasui’s famous daytime view.
Description
This woodblock poster offers Matsue's canal quarter at evening, when a rising moon and one lit window warm the blue dusk. The still water doubles every roofline in perfect reflection. A dreamy nocturnal print for Japanese art collectors.
