Kawase Hasui Chuzenji Lake Autumn Maple Mount Fuji Woodblock Poster
Brilliant red maples frame Mount Fuji across the blue waters of Lake Chuzenji, with a sailboat drifting below. Autumn in Nikko at its most glorious.
Description
This woodblock poster reproduces Hasui's view of Lake Chuzenji in Nikko, where fiery autumn foliage meets the sacred peak of Mount Fuji. A lone sailboat crosses the deep blue lake beneath a bright sky. One of the most celebrated autumn scenes in Japanese print art.
