Katsushika Hokusai Rokurokubi Ghost Plate Mansion Ukiyo-e Poster
Hokusai’s eerie rokurokubi ghost with her long coiling neck, a haunting Japanese ukiyo-e masterpiece.
Description
This exhibition-style print presents Katsushika Hokusai's ghostly 'Plate Mansion' scene, showing a rokurokubi spirit with an impossibly long, coiling neck rising from behind a wooden fence at night. The print carries the artist's name and life dates (1760-1849) plus Japanese text calling him an Edo-period master. A striking pick for collectors of Japanese art, folklore and the beautifully macabre.
