Kasamatsu Shiro Tsurugaoka Hachiman Shrine Golden Ginkgo Poster
A giant golden ginkgo tree flames beside the red shrine gate and stone steps of Tsurugaoka Hachiman Shrine in this Kasamatsu Shiro woodblock print.
Description
Kasamatsu Shiro's autumn view of Kamakura's Tsurugaoka Hachiman Shrine centers a blazing yellow ginkgo beside the long stone staircase and vermilion gate, visitors climbing in kimono. Crisp blue sky and fine detail mark the shin-hanga style. A glorious fall statement piece.
