John Glover Artists House and Garden Colonial Landscape Poster
John Glover’s sweeping view of his farmhouse wrapped in brilliant flower beds beneath blue hills. A landmark of early Australian colonial painting.
Description
This luminous work shows John Glover's homestead at Mills Plains with a garden bursting in white, yellow, and red blooms. Forested hills rise behind under a wide summer sky, painted with a settler's affection for his new land. A textured reproduction that brings nineteenth-century colonial Australia to your wall.
