Japanese Woodblock Snowy Pine Temple Gate Winter Shin Hanga Poster
A snowy shin-hanga woodblock of a pine tree heavy with snow beside a temple gate. Figures with umbrellas cross the silent white courtyard.
Description
This vintage Japanese winter print captures a snow-laden pine before a temple gate as gentle flakes fall. Two small figures with umbrellas make their way across the snow toward the gate. Muted grays, greens and whites give it a hushed, meditative mood.
