Imperial Airways Flying Boat British Airline Vintage Aviation Poster
An Imperial Airways poster with a grand flying boat over a Mediterranean coast — ‘The British Air Line.’
Description
This elegant poster for Imperial Airways, 'The British Air Line,' depicts a four-engine flying boat skimming deep blue waters with a sunlit coastal city — domes and minarets suggesting the eastern Mediterranean — in the distance. The clean, modernist style captures the romance of 1930s air travel. A treasure for aviation collectors — stunning in an office, study or above a desk, and a great gift for pilots and history buffs.
