Illinois Central Railroad Gulf Coast Vintage Travel Poster Horseback
Illinois Central railroad poster of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, showing a rider on a white horse by the shore.
Description
Issued by the Illinois Central railroad, this poster promotes the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast as an all-sports, all-year destination, served by the Panama Limited from Chicago and St. Louis. A woman in a red riding jacket on a white horse looks over a golf course and sailboats, naming Biloxi, Gulfport, and Pass Christian. A colorful piece of American railway and coastal nostalgia.
