Hokusai Kajikazawa Kai Fishermen Nets Mount Fuji Woodblock Poster
From the Thirty-six Views: fishermen cast their nets from a rocky point at Kajikazawa, Mt. Fuji serene on the horizon. A masterpiece of sea and sky.
Description
This Hokusai print shows Kajikazawa in Kai Province, where two fishermen stand on a wave-washed rock casting their long nets into the sea. Mt. Fuji rises calm and pale in the distance above a vast luminous sky, while stylized breakers curl below. The contrast between labor and tranquility gives it quiet power. It suits coastal interiors, offices, and meditation spaces, and is essential for serious Hokusai collectors.
