Hokusai Ghost of Kohada Koheiji Japanese Horror Woodblock Art Poster
Hokusai’s infamous ghost: a skull-faced apparition peers from beneath a mosquito net. One of ukiyo-e’s most chilling images — for brave walls only.
Description
The Ghost of Kohada Koheiji is among Hokusai's most famous supernatural prints — a skeletal face with staring eyes emerges from under a lifted mosquito net against a pitch-dark night. The deep indigo shadows and the ghost's ghastly grin make it an unforgettable image. It is a centerpiece for horror fans, gothic interiors, and Halloween-season displays, and a legendary gift for collectors of Japanese ghost art.
