Hiroshige Snowy Winter Night Japanese Woodblock Art Landscape Poster
A Hiroshige woodblock of travelers crossing a snowy hillside under a starry winter sky. Quiet, atmospheric and unmistakably Edo period.
Description
This Japanese woodblock shows two umbrella-carrying figures descending a moonlit snowy road beneath a windswept pine. Falling snow dots a deep indigo sky in the dramatic night scene. Sealed by the artist, it is a fine example of ukiyo-e winter landscape art for collectors.
