Hiroshige Snowy Shima Bay Islands Winter Japanese Woodblock Poster
A snowy harbor of islands and pine knolls under a star-flecked sky, from Hiroshige’s Sixty-odd Provinces. Dreamy Japanese winter art.
Description
This vintage woodblock print looks over a snow-dusted bay at Shima, islands scattered across blue water beneath a gray, snow-filled sky. From the series of famous views of the sixty-odd provinces, it has a hushed, almost magical stillness. A rare winter landscape for Japanese print collectors.
