Henri Matisse The Open Window 1905 Harbor Sails Fauvist Poster
Matisse’s 1905 The Open Window frames sailboats and a blue harbor in hot pink and green, pure fauvist joy. A sun-drenched classic for coastal and colorful rooms.
Description
This museum-style poster reproduces Henri Matisse's 1905 The Open Window, where open shutters reveal sailboats drifting on a brilliant blue bay. Potted plants and blazing pink walls make it one of the most joyful images of early modernism. The France mark and palette detail complete the gallery-exhibition look. A burst of Mediterranean color for any wall.
