Henri Matisse's Papiers Decoupes exhibition at Berggruen and Cie, 70 Rue de l'Universite Paris VII, ran February 27 to March 28 1953. The poster shows La Gerbe, a spray of cut paper leaves in blue, red, orange, green and black bursting like a bouquet. One of Matisse's most loved final works, full of life and color.
