Henri Matisse Exposition Retrospective 1956 Cutout Exhibition Poster
1956 retrospective poster with Matisse’s cutout fruit shapes. Red, yellow and orange forms with blue accents on cream.
Description
For Matisse's 1956 retrospective exhibition, this poster shows his late paper cutout still life of fruit. Bold red, orange and yellow shapes play against cool blue wedges. A bright modernist classic from the artist's final years.
