Henri De Toulouse Lautrec Nude Lying On A Couch 1897 Reclining Art Print
Toulouse-Lautrec’s 1897 reclining nude: a red-haired model draped across a blue couch in fluid, intimate brushwork.
Description
With characteristic empathy and economy, Toulouse-Lautrec paints a red-haired nude at rest on deep blue drapery, the model's relaxed pose rendered in swift, sensuous strokes. Intimate without voyeurism, it's a tender masterpiece of fin-de-siècle Paris. For collectors of French art and admirers of honest figure painting.
