Hashimoto Okiie Hachijo Island Palm Scene 1950 Modern Landscape Poster
Palm groves, thatched shelters, and a stone bridge over bright water on Hachijo Island. A 1950 modern Japanese woodblock landscape in bold teal and rust.
Description
Hashimoto Okiie pictured the island of Hachijo with energetic carved lines and flat modern color. Leaning palms frame a small bridge while warm red roofs glow in the distance. This midcentury landscape poster adds tropical character to contemporary interiors.
