Hartford Poster, Connecticut Wall Art Print

Hartford appears here as it might in a mid-century travel poster, simplified and graphic rather than photographic. The style uses confident lettering and flat color in the mode of vintage state and city posters that defined how places imagined themselves.

Stair walls and hallways suit prints like this one, and it pairs well when hung alongside other state or city posters. It also works in a study, an entryway, or a den where you gather travel and Americana art.

Connecticut natives and people who have visited will recognize it as a keepsake, and travel-poster collectors are a natural audience. Give it as a present marking a move to or from the area, or as the start of a wall of New England posters someone will keep adding to.
